Cate Blanchett gave birth to son Ignatius Martin Upton yesterday (13.04.08).

The Oscar-winning actress welcomed her third son - who weighed a healthy 7lbs 9oz - with husband Andrew Upton in a hospital in Sydney, Australia. A spokesman for the 38-year-old actress said: "All are well and very happy."

Cate and 41-year-old playwright Andrew already have two children, six-year-old Dashiell John and three-year-old Roman Robert.

Madonna has revealed her husband Guy Ritchie lost his sex drive while he was on a cookie diet.

The pop superstar - who pays tribute to her "incredible" love-life with Guy on her forthcoming album 'Hard Candy' - was not happy when the British director's libido took a nose-dive after he substituted breakfast and lunch for low-calorie biscuits.

She said: "My husband went on that cookie diet and it was such a turn-off because he didn't want to have sex. He's not on it anymore, thank god!"

Elizabeth Taylor was reportedly rushed to hospital after mixing alcohol and prescription drugs.

According to the National Enquirer magazine, the 76-year-old actress woke her assistant at 4am on April 6 after she started vomiting and had trouble breathing.
She was rushed to Los Angeles' Cedars-Sinai Medical Center where she was treated before returning home later that afternoon.

A friend of the legendary star said: "Liz was panicking. She really thought she was going to die." A representative for the actress is yet to comment.
