Leonardo DiCaprio fled in fear when a wild cat appeared on the golf course where he was teeing off with Jack Nicholson.

The ‘Gangs of New York’ actor stars alongside Nicholson in Martin Scorsese’s new film ‘The Departed’ and has been picking up some golfing tips.

However, DiCaprio’s lesson was interrupted when a bobcat - a small wild cat related to the Lynx, usually no bigger than half a metre high – walked out in front of the two stars. An insider told Britain’s Daily Mirror newspaper: “Leo's new to the sport and was getting some pointers from Jack when a bobcat appeared at the 15th hole. “Jack told him to run like hell. They jumped in their golf cart and fled.”

Eminem is to design a range of trainers for Nike.

The ‘Lose Yourself’ rapper’s footwear will then be auctioned off for charity in September. He said in statement: “We're always looking for new ways to try to raise money and awareness for the foundation, so when Nike approached us we jumped at the chance.

“Who wouldn't want to design their own line of Nikes? And to do it for charity makes it that much better.” The limited edition Air Max shoes will have specially commissioned uppers designed by the Grammy-award winning artist. Charlotte, whose debut TV show starts this Friday (01.09.06) on Channel 4, said Paris wanted the “obscene” amount to be interviewed.

She told Britain’s Radio 1: "We asked Paris to be on the show. I thought it would be funny to make fun out of her because she's such an airhead but she wanted a ridiculous amount of money. Tom Cruise’s “normal” daughter has been seen again, by an unwitting member of the public.

The man, who has asked to be identified only as “Frank”, went on a tour of stars’ mansions in Beverly Hills and accidentally gained entry to Tom’s Hollywood home. Frank told Los Angeles radio station KROQ that while he was outside Tom’s house one of the actor’s friends pressed the buzzer and the gate to the property just opened. Frank and his three friends drove through and were waved on by security.

When they reached the top of the drive they saw Tom playing with two children on the lawn, while his fiancée Katie Holmes craddled baby Suri. Frank said: “Suri looked cute and perfectly normal.”

When Tom’s security team realised the car was not meant to have been granted access they surrounded the vehicle and demanded to see some identification.

Robbie Williams has been accused of stealing a song by Rod Stewart’s stepson Ashley Hamilton.

Ashley – whose mother Alana was Rod’s first wife – says he worked with Robbie on new single ‘She’s Madonna’ before the ‘Angels’ singer asked the Pet Shop Boys to finish the track.

Ashley, 31, told Britain’s Daily Mirror newspaper: “We came up with this idea over coffee one afternoon and worked on the lyrics together. The next thing I know, a producer’s ringing me up to say congratulations for getting my song on Robbie’s record. I didn’t know what he was talking about!

“I was shocked. When you work with someone, you’re legally entitled to a share of the publishing. I have demos of the tape and will see him in court if I have to. I just want him to be a man and do the right thing.” Ashley claims Robbie went “ballistic” when he tried to approach him and threatened to remove the track from his new album ‘Rudebox’.

Robbie says he wrote the song after seeing Madonna perform at last year’s MTV Europe awards, but Ashley insists the track was written three years ago. Robbie’s spokesperson said: “‘She’s Madonna’ is a collaboration between Robbie and the Pet Shop Boys.” This is not the first time Robbie has faced legal action.

Sir Paul McCartney has reportedly offered estranged wife Heather Mills £50 million to remain silent about their marriage.

MADONNA FACES ARREST OVER HER CONTROVERSIAL MOCK CRUCIFIXION.

Mel Gibson has escaped jail after pleading guilty to drunk driving.
The ‘Mad Max’ star agreed a plea bargain with prosecutors on Thursday (17.08.06) and in return was given three years probation, ordered to attend Alcoholics Anonymous meetings and told to enrol in an alcohol abuse programme for three months.
Mel - who was also fined $1,300 and had his driving license restricted for 90 days - was arrested on July 28 after being pulled over on Pacific Coast Highway, in Maui, for speeding.
He then launched into an anti-Semitic tirade, during which he allegedly said: “Jews are responsible for all the wars in the world.”
Afterwards, the 50-year-old actor profusely apologised for his comments.
Mel said: “I acted like a person completely out of control when I was arrested, and said things that I do not believe to be true and which are despicable.
“I am deeply ashamed of everything I said, and I apologise to anyone who I have offended.”
Mel – who signed the plea agreement and waived his right to a jury trial on Monday (14.08.06) - did not appear in court for the hearing. His lawyer Blair Berk entered the plea on his behalf.
Malibu’s deputy district attorney Gina Satriano said in a statement: “This was an appropriate outcome which addresses all the public safety concerns of drinking and driving.”

Madonna faces arrest over her controversial mock crucifixion.
The ‘Hung Up’ singer could be arrested when she performs in Germany on Sunday (20.08.06) if she goes ahead with the much-criticised routine.

Sir Paul McCartney is so desperate to divorce Heather Mills he would pay her £50 million to avoid court, it has been reported.

The former Beatles legend has admitted he can’t face the stress of a court battle and if he thought Heather would accept the offer he would write out a cheque immediately.

A source told Britain’s News of the World newspaper: “If it was up to Paul he’d settle this matter now. If Heather would accept £50 million and go away quietly he would write the cheque to get it over and done with.

“This divorce has hit Paul really hard. He doesn’t want the hassle of a court battle.”

Heather reportedly turned down the offer of £30 million to avoid a court battle and some have suggested she may be entitled to up to a quarter of Paul’s estimated £825 million fortune.

Last week, relations between the estranged couple – who have a two-year-old daughter Beatrice – became even more strained. Paul reportedly froze their joint bank account and changed the locks to his London home.

Heather has even accused Paul of spying on her, claiming she has found a log kept by his security team which recorded her every movement for the past few months.

A source revealed: “Heather spotted the minder’s logs of all movements in and out of the property. She accused Paul of spying on her. Paul said he didn’t know anything about it.

Heather - who has hired Anthony Julius, Princess Diana’s divorce lawyer - is set to submit her counter claim this week and it is believed her revelations about their four-year marriage will shock the showbiz world.

Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes have helped comfort a couple hurt in a car crash in Los Angeles.

The ‘Mission: Impossible III’ star and his fiancée were on their way home from the airport on Saturday (12.08.06) after watching a soccer game – in which their friend David Beckham and his team, Real Madrid, played - in Salt Lake City when they came across the smash on the 101 Freeway.

A spokesperson for the couple confirmed that they stopped to make sure Jon Henningsen and his wife weren’t badly hurt and even waited with them until the emergency services arrived.

Disney will not release Mel Gibson's latest movie in the wake of his drunken anti-Semitic tirade, it has been reported.

The studio was to release the actor's new project 'Apocalypto' on December 8, but has now decided to offer it to other distributors, according to Fox news.
Among the potential studios that could pick up the film is Lions Gate, an independent company which has picked many unwanted movies in the past.

The singer is claiming unnamed former lawyers plotted with “other attorneys, vendors and creditors” to bankrupt him.

Heather arrived with daughter Beatrice for a scheduled visit to the mansion that she used to share with estranged husband Sir Paul McCartney only to find the gate locked. Heather's security guard attempted to climb over the wall to let her in but Sir Paul's security team, who had had not been informed of the visit, called the police when they saw what they thought was an intruder climbing over the wall.
