ELLE MACPHERSON HAS SLAMMED CELEBRITIES WHO FLAUNT THEIR PERSONAL LIVES TO

Elle Macpherson has slammed celebrities who flaunt their personal lives to
gain publicity.
The 43-year-old Australian supermodel revealed she makes a conscious effort
to keep her public and private life separate in order to protect her
children.
She said: "I don't use my personal life or my family in order to sell
products and I never have.
"I'm a public person but there are people in my life who didn't choose my
job, and have a right to anonymity. And so do my children."
Elle has two sons – six-year-old Arpad Flynn Alexander Busson and
three-year-old Aurelius Cy Andrea Busson – with former lover French
financier Arpad Busson.
The couple got engaged in August 2002, but the birth of her second son put a
strain on the relationship after Elle was treated for exhaustion and post
natal depression.

The former model, who plays Solange in the latest 007 film ‘Casino Royale’,
says wearing a bikini while riding a horse in the film cured her fear of the
animals.
Caterina said: “I didn’t want to film the scene at first because I had
fallen off a horse in a previous film. Then a friend said, ‘Caterina, you’ll
go down in cinema history as the Bond girl who rode a horse in a bikini.’
“So I decided to have a go, I started training and I loved it. Now I ride a
horse every week!”
The 32-year-old brunette admits she worried that becoming a Bond girl could
ruin her career.
She said: “The kiss of Bond is very deadly. You have to be careful. It is
very enjoyable but there is a price to pay.”

Dita Von Teese says she loves stripping.
The burlesque performer, who is married to rocker Marilyn Manson, insists
the best part of her job is baring her flesh and she has slammed women in
her industry who refuse to take their clothes off.
Dita said: “I hear people who are trying to do burlesque say, ‘Well, we won’t
take off our clothes because that’s not classy’. I think that’s offensive
and disrespectful to stars from the past like Gypsy Rose Lee.
“I’m trying to set the record straight about what burlesque was: it’s not
just about a style or a look. It’s about stripping.”
But the singer, actress and model insists she only bares her body while she
is working.
Dita said: “No one has seen me out at a party having had too much to drink
showing my boobs or butt. I’m not that wild kind of girl. I’m uncomfortable
wearing a miniskirt. It’s about what’s appropriate.”

Jared Leto was so ashamed of dating Lindsay Lohan he avoided being
photographed with her.
The ‘Mean Girls’ star says her relationship didn’t work out with the ‘Fight
Club’ actor because he didn’t like the crowds of paparazzi who follow her
everywhere.
Lindsay said: “Jared was so paranoid. He’d always be like, ‘Don’t come over
if you’re going to bring 15 paparazzi!’ ”
The 20-year-old actress – who recently confessed she likes to date more than
one man at a time – said Jared was one of her few proper boyfriends.
She said: “I don’t think I’ve had enough experience with dating one guy for
a long time. The only one was Jared, and Wilmer Valderrama.”
Lindsay was not Jared’s first celebrity love interest. He has also dated

NICOLE KIDMAN WAS REUNITED WITH HER HUSBAND KEITH URBAN FOR CHRISTMAS.

Nicole Kidman was reunited with her husband Keith Urban for Christmas.

The 'Cold Mountain' star and the country singer have been seen together in her hometown of Sydney, Australia, following Urban's release from rehab.
A source said: "Nicole looked radiant. She was beaming and her skin was aglow. They looked very in love and happy to be together."
Urban checked into rehab in October to be treated for alcohol and drug addiction at California's Betty Ford clinic just four months after their wedding.
It is the 39-year-old singer's first visit to Sydney since the couple married there in June this year.
They now live in Nashville, Tennessee, but Urban began losing his battle against his alcoholism while Kidman was away filming her latest movie 'His Dark Materials: The Golden Compass', based on the Phillip Pullman novel.
The 39-year-old 'Moulin Rouge' star is determined to save her marriage, despite a rocky start.
A source told Britain's Daily Mirror newspaper: "Keith is the love of her life and supporting him hasn't been easy.
"But she will always fight to keep him. When things get tough, she just fights harder.
"They are both trying their hardest to make things work.
"Hopefully this will be a chance for them to spend some quality time together."

Adam Sandler donated gifts to young cancer sufferers in his home state of New Hampshire this Christmas.

The 'Wedding Singer' star had a PlayStation 3 with all the latest games, autographed DVDs and a 'Longest Yard' poster delivered to 15-year-old Stephanie Hudon and her 18-year-old brother, Kevin, at their Manchester home in New Hampshire.
Stephanie has bone cancer that recently spread to her lungs and is due to undergo surgery on January 8.
Kevin was diagnosed with Hodgkin's lymphoma in November and is receiving chemotherapy treatment.
Stephanie said: "I just wanted to say 'thank you' and my family thanks you."
Manchester Memorial High School teacher Christine Monahan said: "We have been organising fundraising for the Hudon family and we were delighted when Adam Sandler sent the gifts last week."
It is not the first time the 40-year-old actor has shown his community spirit in the state where he spent his childhood. As a seven-year-old Sandler sang 'The Candy Man' for the patients at a Manchester nursing home and he has twice revisited his old school, Manchester Central High School, to address the pupils since becoming a Hollywood star.
In 2003 he advised graduates to, "Fill your life with fun", and in 2004 he told them, "Congratulations. As of today, you no longer have to eat your lunch in the school cafeteria!"
Isabel Pellerin, who taught the 'Big Daddy' actor between 1980 and 1984 told US People magazine: "You've seen his movies? That's the way he was here.
"I can't believe he's making all that money for things he was being punished for here. I thought he would grow up. Instead he grew rich."

Sylvester Stallone has said filming the sixth Rocky movie was more painful than making the first five films combined.

The 60-year-old actor - who stars in 'Rocky Balboa' the latest chapter of the boxing legends life - revealed he suffered more injuries than ever before while making the new film.
Stallone told US People magazine: "This one was injury-prone. The joints wear down and you get inflammations of things that you didn't even know existed. It became about living with conditions because nothing was going away. Every day was an Advil day. In all five Rocky movies put together I didn't have this many injuries."
The 'Rambo' star considers the latest film to be even more gritty than its predecessors as the fight scenes were largely improvised with unanticipated physical consequences.
He said: "In the other Rocky's it was all kaboom-kapow-kaboom. There was a lot of contact in this one because I wanted it to be very realistic. We didn't choreograph the fight scene, so we ended up having the ragged edges, those awkward moments that make it real. I broke my foot. I had a bulging disk in my neck. I shredded a calf muscle. It was so bad it had to be put in a cast."

Madonna is learning to speak her adopted son's native language.

The 'Hung Up' singer and her director husband Guy Ritchie have been taking lessons in Chichewa, which is spoken in the African country of Malawi where baby David Banda was born.
A source said: "Madonna and Guy use the few words they have learned - Mummy, Daddy, hello, my love and some others - every day.
"Madonna knows a Chichewa lullaby called 'Gona Mana' and has been working on a guitar piece to go along with it."
The source added: "David is a very smart little chap who idolises his brother Rocco."
Meanwhile, Madonna's father-in-law has claimed that her desire to adopt another child is putting strain on her marriage to his son.
Guy's father, John Ritchie, said: "They've had a difficult time. David is very beautiful and Guy is very good with him. But I don't think he'd want to adopt again.
"They were both under an unbelievable amount of pressure because of all the press surrounding David's adoption. It has caused tension and been deeply upsetting."
It has been suggested that Madonna plans to give a home to a baby girl also from Malawi.

Britney Spears wants to adopt a tsunami orphan.

The 'Toxic' singer - who recently filed for divorce from Kevin Federline -
fell for a four-year-old boy called Wang, from Bali, who lost his entire
family in the 2004 Indian Ocean tragedy, after reading about his plight.
A source said: "She instantly wanted to help him and is sponsoring him until
she can find out more.
"And she has even written to officials seeking advice.
"The tsunami disaster was a tragedy very close to Britney's heart and she
has dedicated a lot of her time to its charities."
Britney - who has two children with her estranged husband, Sean Preston,
15-months-old and three-month-old Jayden James - has even consulted
celebrity pal Madonna, who recently adopted a Malawi boy.
The source added: "She is even in talks with Madonna about it and is taking
it very seriously."
The 25-year-old star's decision to adopt an underprivileged child is part of
her plan to make a fresh start in the new year, following her bitter split
from Kevin.
The source said: "Britney's had a turbulent year and wants 2007 to be
brilliant.
"As well as wanting to look after little Wang, she is determined to make a
music comeback with a difference."

Victoria Beckham has admitted she "can't act to save her life".

The former Spice Girl - who starred in 'Spice World' - has laughed off
rumours she is to launch a film career with a part in a Scientology movie
produced by friend Tom Cruise, saying her acting is limited to cameo
appearances.
She said: "It's quite hilarious for two reasons. Firstly, you'll never see
me on screen again because I can't act to save my life!
"And secondly, although I get offered a few parts, I'd never do it as I
wouldn't want to wear anything the wardrobe department would put me in.

MATTHEW MCCONAUGHEY BOUGHT HIS FAMILY HEADLAMPS FOR CHRISTMAS.

American President George W. Bush and Rolling Stones frontman Sir Mick Jagger have led tributes to the late soul legend James Brown.
Brown died in an Atlanta hospital, in Georgia, on Christmas Day from heart failure after being admitted with pneumonia. He was 73.
News of his passing was met with shock across the world.
Bush described the self-styled 'Godfather of Soul' as an "American original"
, adding: "His fans came from all walks of life and backgrounds. James Brown 's family and friends are in our thoughts this Christmas."
Jagger, who was a huge fan of the legendary singer, insisted his death was a "huge loss" to music.
As well as receiving tributes from his more famous admirers, many fans paid tribute to Brown by placing candles on his star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame or laying flowers at his statue in his hometown of Augusta, Georgia.
A public funeral for Brown is to be held this Saturday (30.12.06) in Georgia.
Before the service takes place, his body will lie in state on Thursday
(28.12.06) at New York's Apollo Theatre so fans can pay their respects.
The funeral is to be held in an 8,500-seat arena bearing his name in the city of Augusta.
A private service for family and friends only will be held on Friday
(29.12.06) at an unspecified location.

Uma Thurman has broken her wrist.
The 'Kill Bill' actress fractured her lower arm on the set of her latest movie, 'The Accidental Husband', late last week.
According to an on-set source, Uma, 36, snapped her wrist when "she was jumping to reach something and fell on her hand".
She initially didn't realise she had broken it but after going to bed she woke up the next day to find it was considerably swollen.
After going to hospital Uma had to undergo surgery to repair the damage.
Shooting on the movie, which also stars Colin Firth and Isabella Rossellini, will be delayed for a week while Uma's broken wrist heals.
She is believed to be currently recovering at her New York home with her two children Maya, eight, and four-year-old Roan.

Matthew McConaughey bought his family headlamps for Christmas.
The heartthrob actor bought each of his nearest and dearest a torch that can be worn on the head because he thinks they are brilliant.
He said: "I gave out a lot of headlamps, you know, the things you can wrap around your head and see what you're doing.
"I think they are one of the best inventions going. I gave electronic toothbrushes last year so it had to be headlamps this year."
Meanwhile, McConaughey has tipped ex-girlfriend Penelope Cruz for Oscar success.
The 'We Are Marshall' actor insists he is still good friends with his former lover and was blown away by her performance in her latest movie 'Volver'.
McConaughey, 37, said: "I just saw 'Volver'. She's going to get an Oscar nomination - or she should. She's incredibly excited about that film."

Angelina Jolie spent Christmas Day visiting refugees in Costa Rica.
The 'Tomb Raider' actress jetted into the country on Monday (25.12.06) to begin a visit as part of her work as a UN Goodwill Ambassador.
As she met with a number of refugees, Angelina took the opportunity to speak out about the growing problems in the country.
It is estimated that there are around 11,500 refugees in Costa Rica, most of who arrived after fleeing Colombia to escape the conflict between leftist guerrillas, soldiers and paramilitary forces.
Angelina, whose lover is Brad Pitt, said: "The conflict in Colombia is the greatest humanitarian tragedy in the Western Hemisphere, but it receives very little international attention.
"My Christmas message to Colombian refugees and to the millions of displaced people in Colombia is that the world has not totally forgotten them."

Ben Stiller took LSD when he was a teenager, but the hallucinations he experienced were so bad he had to call his parents for help.
The 'Meet The Parents' star - son of comedy duo Jerry Stiller and Anne Meara - was just 16 when he decided to try the mind-bending drug, with frightening consequences.
Stiller revealed: "It was scary. A bad, bad trip. The first and last time I ever did it.

Jennifer Aniston is using yoga to deal with her failed relationships.
The actress, who is reportedly furious with Angelina Jolie for revealing details about her relationship with her ex-husband Brad Pitt, has found it therapeutic to cry through her yoga poses.
Us Weekly magazine's deputy editor Caroline Schaefer revealed: "One thing that has really helped Jen cope with this onslaught of information about her ex-husband is doing a lot of yoga.
"She practices almost every day. She cries through poses. It's just been very cathartic for her."

Robbie Williams doesn't want to have children because he wouldn't want to see them suffer.

The pop megastar has suffered from depression in the past and could not bear the thought of his offspring experiencing the same agonising lows as him.

He said: "I don't know if I want to be in a relationship. I don't believe that to be fulfilled you have to have kids. What's the point? I can't guarantee my child won't suffer pain - because that kid is going to be in pain at some point in their life. I don't want to see that. It's too much."

Gwen Stefani claims breastfeeding has given her superhuman powers.

The singer gave birth to son Kingston in May this year and said she loves nursing her baby.

Gwen revealed: "I'm still nursing, and I think it gives you superhuman powers."
The former No Doubt singer toured until she was four-and-a-half-months pregnant and is already back on the road promoting her single 'Wind It Up' but says Kingston is enjoying going to work with her.

YOKO ONO’S CHAUFFEUR SAID HE HAD PEOPLE “ON STANDBY” TO KILL HER.

Yoko Ono’s chauffeur said he had people “on standby” to kill her.
Koral Karsan threatened to kill John Lennon’s widow and release embarrassing photographs and recordings of her unless she paid him $2 million.
Assistant District Attorney Maureen O’Connor, speaking at Karsan’s arraignment in Manhattan Criminal Court, said: “Karsan claimed he had people on standby waiting to kill the victim on his orders.”
Yoko’s lawyer Jonas Herbsman said Karsan told him he would “ruin the life of Yoko, her children and her associates” if she didn’t give him the money.
Jude Tanya Kennedy set Karsan’s bail at a hefty $500,000 bond or $250,000 cash, after O’Connor branded him an “extraordinary flight risk”.
Karsan has protested his innocence, claiming Yoko made the allegations to stop him “pursuing a sexual harassment case against her.”
Karsan - who has worked for Ono for six years - was arrested in New York on Wednesday (13.12.06) after Yoko reported the threats.
He has been charged with first-degree attempted grand larceny.
Police said that on December 8, the 26th anniversary of John Lennon's assassination, Karsan delivered a threatening note and photograph of Yoko, 73, in her nightclothes to her apartment in New York’s Dakota building, where she lived with the former Beatle. In a later conversation with one of Yoko’s associates - recorded by investigators - the 50-year-old chauffeur talked about killing her, her son Sean and himself.

Courtney Love is helping Pete Doherty quit drugs.
The singer – who was once forced to enter rehab to avoid a jail sentence – has been offering advice to the troubled Babyshambles frontman.
Courtney said: “I’ve talked to him on the phone. The threat of jail scared the living c**p out of me.”
The blonde rocker, the widow of Nirvana’s Kurt Cobain, has told Pete he needs to put his whole heart into trying to get clean or he will fail.
She explained: “I think you have to really want it and you have to seek it for yourself’.”
Courtney, 42, also revealed she is desperate to resolve her long-running feud with Madonna – but isn’t willing to make the first move.

‘Babel’ has been nominated for an incredible seven Golden Globe Awards.
The desert-based thriller, starring Brad Pitt and Cate Blanchett, is up for Best Drama, Best Supporting Actress for Adriana Barraza and Rinko Kikuchi and Best Director for Alejandro Gonzalez Inarritu among others.
Brad – who has been nominated in the Best Supporting Actor category – is “pleased” the movie has been named in so many different categories.
He said: “I am so pleased to be nominated along with my fellow actors in ‘Babel’ for a Golden Globe. I am very proud of this film and I congratulate Alejandro, Rinko, Adriana and Cate, as well.”
Martin Scorsese’s mob thriller ‘The Departed’ is nominated in six categories including Best Drama, Best Actor for Leonardo DiCaprio, Best Supporting Actor for Jack Nicholson and Mark Wahlberg, Best Director for Martin Scorsese and Best Screenplay for William Monahan.
Hollywood veteran Clint Eastwood received a double nomination for ‘Flags of Our Fathers’ and ‘Letters From Iwo Jima’.
It was also a good night for British stars, with Sacha Baron Cohen, Judi Dench, Kate Winslet and Helen Mirren all receiving nominations.
Cohen – who is up for Best Comedy Actor for his portrayal of Kazakhstani reporter Borat in ‘Borat: Cultural Learnings of America for Make Benefit Glorious Nation of Kazakhstan’ – insisted his alter ego will be proud to learn about the film’s success.
He said: “I have been trying to let Borat know this great news, but for the last four hours both of Kazakhstan's telephones have been engaged. Eventually, Premier Nazarbayev answered and said he would pass on the message as soon as Borat returned from Iran, where he is guest of honour at the Holocaust Denial Conference."
The winners will be announced on January 15 at a star-studded ceremony in Beverly Hills.

Angelina Jolie has revealed she feeds insects to son Maddox.

The actress and her lover Brad Pitt decided to treat the five-year-old to a dish of crunchy crickets during a recent trip to Maddox’s native Cambodia.

The insects – which are rich in protein – are a traditional dish in the Southeast Asian country.

Yoko Ono's chauffeur was arrested yesterday (13.12.06) for trying to extort $2 million from her.

Driver Koral Karsan threatened to leak embarrassing photographs of the 73-year-old and hinted he would kill her and her son Sean Lennon if he did not received the huge sum.

Karsan - who has worked for Yoko, the widow of John Lennon, for six years - was arrested, pending charges, by New York police after Yoko reported the threats.

Yoko’s spokesman, Elliot Mintz said: "She is one woman who has been through enough.

"For an employee - especially a trusted employee who drove her - to attempt a shakedown has left her just absolutely shocked."

Police said that on December 8, the 26th anniversary of John Lennon's assassination, Karsan delivered a threatening note and a photo of Yoko in nightclothes to her apartment in New York’s Dakota building, where she lived with the former Beatle.

SIR PAUL MCCARTNEY WILL PAY ESTRANGED WIFE HEATHER MILLS £120MILLION IN A SECRET DIVORCE SETTLEMENT, IT HAS BEEN REPORTED.

Sir Paul McCartney will pay estranged wife Heather Mills £120million in a secret divorce settlement, it has been reported. The former Beatles legend has been convinced to agree to the deal by his fashion designer daughter Stella, who is worried about his mental and physical health.

A source told Britain’s News of the World newspaper: “Stella told Paul: ‘If this goes on it could kill you. Being happy is more important than money’.” Paul had a heart scare earlier this year and has been in therapy since he split from the former model in May. It has been reported that Heather will be publicly awarded £10million, most of which she will donate to charity.

However, Paul will privately hand Heather £120million, which includes £3million a year for the divorce settlement and £2million a year in maintenance for their three-year-old daughter Beatrice. The staggering fee also includes £3million for their English homes, an £8million fund for homes in the US and Europe and £2million towards staff fees and general expenses.

The source added: “It’s a done deal and Paul is relieved.” Heather, 38, was seen filming inside the London home she shared with Paul last week. The ‘Layer Cake’ actress, who was left devastated by Jude’s affair with his children’s nanny, has revealed she turned to a psychiatrist to help mend her broken heart.

George Clooney’s beloved potbellied pig Max has died.

The pet passed away at the actor’s Hollywood home from old age. He was suffering from arthritis and partial blindness.

Clooney said: “He was as old a pig as the vets had ever seen. I was really surprised when he went. I’m really upset, he's been a big part of my life.”

The 45-year-old actor had Max for 18 years, and often spoke of his affection for his pet hog, referring to him as "Max, the star”. He even shared his bed with the pig.
