Beyoncé Knowles could have hepatitis A.

The singer may have been exposed to the disease after attending a Sports Illustrated party in Hollywood on Valentine’s Day. The Los Angeles County Department of Health contacted guests yesterday (27.02.07) to tell them a catering worker had been diagnosed with acute hepatitis A. Vaccinations have been recommended for guests who ate uncooked food at the party or 13 other events catered by Wolfgang Puck Catering from February 1-20.
Carl Schuster, president of Wolfgang Puck Catering, said: “While the risk of infection is low, we will continue to work with to bring a speedy resolution to this investigation. After the cook was placed on medical leave we immediately worked to take every precaution to further safeguard our patrons and other employees." A representative for Beyoncé confirmed they “were looking into it”.


Britney Spears could be suffering from post-natal depression.

The ‘Toxic’ singer is currently receiving treatment at Malibu Promises rehab centre for alleged drink problems, but doctors believe Britney is using alcohol to deal with her depression.
A source revealed: "No doubt about it - she likes to drink. But doctors think she is drinking to cope with a bigger problem. “They strongly believe post-partum depression is the problem. Their other theory is that she is suffering from bipolar disorder.”


50 Cent is going to court to fight his ex-lover over her “greedy” child support demands.

The rapper – who split up with his son Marquise’s mother Shaniqua Tompkins five years ago - has always paid child support but the arrangements were never made official by the courts. 50 is determined to formalise the arrangement, because he claims Shaniqua has become more demanding.
A source said: “It was just getting so out of hand. It was driven by greed.
“He felt it was necessary to get a court order making clear just what his responsibility is. 50 has always provided for his kid. His son's mother is now making unreasonable demands, which seem to have no limits."
The hip-hop star – real name Curtis Jackson – lived with his teenage sweetheart Shaniqua for four years.

BRITNEY SPEARS CHECKED INTO REHAB LAST NIGHT (20.02.07).

Britney Spears checked into rehab last night (20.02.07).

The 25-year-old singer admitted herself into California’s Promises Malibu Treatment Center following concerns for her erratic behaviour.

Her manager Larry Rudolph confirmed: “Britney Spears has voluntarily checked herself into a rehab facility. We ask that the media respect her privacy as well as those of her family and friends at this time.”

Rudolph did not disclose what Britney was being treated for.

Anna Nicole Smith was murdered by her lover Howard K. Stern, lawyers claimed yesterday (20.02.07).

The accusation was made during a Florida court hearing to determine where the former Playboy Playmate will be buried.

Stern, Anna Nicole’s former lover Larry Birkhead and the late model’s mother, Virgie Arthur, attended the hearing which descended into chaos when Stern’s lawyer Krista Barth accused Birkhead’s attorney Debra Opri of claiming her client had killed Anna Nicole.

Barth fumed: “Miss Opri just made a statement to my client that he actually killed Miss Smith. I have to protect him.”

Angelina Jolie was so shocked by the sex scenes in her latest movie she almost refused to do them.

Stunning Angelina wasn’t comfortable filming raunchy love scenes with co-star Matt Damon, 36, in ‘The Good Shepherd’, in particular one in which her character tries to trick her lover into getting her pregnant.

Angelina said: “I had trouble shooting it. I’m so against that kind of behaviour.

“It actually turned out great because we’re friends. I don’t know if I could have done that with anybody else.”

Mark Owen has vowed to save his troubled former Take That bandmate Robbie Williams.

The 35-year-old star says Robbie only has to ask and he will be on the first plane to the US to help him beat his addiction to prescription drugs.

Britney Spears has sparked fears she is on the verge of a breakdown after shaving her head.

The 25-year-old singer - who is said to be terrified of losing her children in a custody battle with estranged husband Kevin Federline - was seen crying in her limousine before entering Esther's Haircutting Salon in Tarazana, California, on Friday (16.02.07).

After hairdressers refused to shave her head, Britney grabbed a pair of clippers and sheared off her locks herself.

Salon owner Esther Tognozzi said: "I tried to talk her out of it, but she said, 'No, I absolutely want it shaved off now.'

"Afterwards she looked in the mirror and said with tears in her eyes, 'Oh, my God, I shaved it all off. My mom is going to be so upset with me.'

"I asked her if the buzz cut was a symbol of a new beginning and she said, 'Yeah, something like that.' "

Cameron Diaz has been on a date with 'Blood Diamond' star Djimon Hounsou.

Gwyneth, 34, who is married to Coldplay frontman Chris Martin, is hoping her vegan diet will keep her healthy.

Robbie recently revealed: “I can’t honestly say that I don’t take too many prescription drugs. How many is too many? If you drink as much coffee as I do, you easily get into the too-many-sleeping tablets thing.

Anna Nicole Smith’s dead husband, billionaire J. Howard Marshall, could be her daughter Dannielynn’s father, it has been claimed.

Anna Nicole’s sister, Donna Hogan, says the former Playboy Playmate froze the 89-year-old’s sperm and may have used it to get pregnant. Anna Nicole married the Texan oil tycoon in 1994, but he died the following year.

Dannielynn Hope Marshall Stern - who bears the names of two of her possible fathers - was born in the Bahamas five months ago and has been the subject of a bitter paternity battle.

Anna Nicole was ordered to have her daughter undergo a paternity test just days before she tragically died last week, after photographer Larry Birkhead filed a lawsuit claiming he fathered Dannielynn during a two-year affair.

The former model insisted Howard K Stern - her lawyer and lover - was the father of the child. He is named as the father on Dannielynn’s birth certificate.

Stern flew to the Bahamas at the weekend to see Dannielynn. As he held her he sobbed: “This is the only piece of Anna I have left.”

However, Anna Nicole’s mother Virgie Arthur - who was also in the Bahamas trying to convince child services to let her care for the child - accused Stern of only grieving because he had lost his “meal ticket”.

She said she believes Birkhead is Dannielynn’s biological father. Birkhead’s lawyer Debra Opri said: “Everybody is in agreement that the child must be removed from Stern’s environment.”

Prince Frederic von Anhalt - husband of Zsa Zsa Gabor - joined the paternity battle on Friday (09.02.07) by claiming he had a ten-year affair with Anna Nicole. He also said up to 30 men could be Dannielynn’s father.

Prince Frederic revealed: "Anna liked to have fun. She liked to have fun with men. She was a very sexy woman." Whoever is ruled to be Dannielynn’s father will take control of Anna Nicole’s estate and the £240 million she could inherit from Marshall’s estate.

Stern faced more heartache at the weekend after discovering the locks had been changed on the house he shared with Anna Nicole. Anna Nicole, 39, was pronounced dead in Florida’s Memorial Regional Hospital at around 2.45pm on Thursday (08.02.07).

The Florida medical examiner said it could take several weeks to establish the cause of death, amid reports the model had been drinking heavily and prescription drugs were found in her hotel room.

Sienna Miller’s virginity confession

Sienna Miller has claimed she lost her virginity at 16.

The 25-year-old actress had her first sexual experience in her bedroom, because her mother insisted she experimented with her boyfriend under her roof.

She said: "I had my first serious boyfriend when I was 16 and my mother made sure I brought him home. "She didn't want me doing it outside and would say, 'I'd rather you did it in my house if you're going to do it at all.'

"It was a very open household but I only brought home guys I really liked.
"My mother was very warm and accepting of anything we got into as children."

Sienna recently revealed she was determined to make the sex scenes with her 'Factory Girl' co-star Hayden Christensen as realistic as possible.

She said "I believe that there's nothing worse than seeing a sex scene where someone's got a T-shirt on because it's unrealistic. So I think that if you're going to do it, do it.

Britney Spears has vehemently denied claims she is a lesbian.

The 25-year-old mother-of-two was left fuming over allegations she participated in wild same-sex orgies before splitting from husband Kevin Federline in November.

Britney believes the reports are part of a smear campaign by Kevin to aid his custody battle for sons, Sean Preston, 16 months, and Jayden James, four months.

A source said: "This is all part of a plan to smear Britney. They are close to agreeing a divorce settlement - so this is a warning shot if he doesn't get what he wants."

Kevin's friend, rap music producer Omar 'Iceman' Sharif, lifted the lid on Britney's alleged sexual exploits to In Touch Weekly magazine.

A source told the New York Post newspaper: "They were talking, dancing, holding hands all night - it was very cosy.

The pair became close after the ‘Lost in Translation’ actress starred in Justin’s latest video. They were seen in a New York nightclub shortly after Justin split from Cameron.

Lily Allen will hit BRITs

Lily Allen will go to the BRITs, because her dad, British comic star Keith Allen, has told her to.

The 'Smile' singer had threatened to boycott the prestigious event because she feared she would leave empty-handed, despite being nominated for four awards.

However, Lily's father, comedian Keith Allen, told her she must attend because she may never have the chance again.

According to Britain's The Sun newspaper, Keith told her: "It's a once-in-a-lifetime thing to be nominated for four BRITs - you must go and have a good time."

Lily has taken heed of her father's advice and decided to go.

She said: "I really was going to stay away from the BRITs because as soon as the nominations came out, I was convinced I wouldn't win anything.

"It's not like the end of the world if I don't win something. But when my dad found out I wasn't going, he went mad. He said it would be bad form."

Lily is convinced she will lose the Best Female gong to rival Amy Winehouse and the Best Album trophy to Arctic Monkeys.

She has also been named in the Best Single and Best Breakthrough categories, but fears the awards will go to Leona Lewis for her debut song 'A Moment Like This' and The Kooks respectively.

Lily, 21, added: "There's the split vote thing going on when you are nominated in all those categories, but I think Amy Winehouse will win the Best Female award and I don't think I will win anything.”

Kylie’s brave appearance
Kylie Minogue put her recent break-up behind her to launch a London exhibition dedicated to her last night (06.02.07).

The pop princess arrived in a stunning purple Grecian-style Dolce and Gabbana dress to open a retrospective of her showbiz outfits, ‘Kylie - The Exhibition’, at the Victoria and Albert Museum, in South Kensington.

Kylie, 38, avoided questions about her recent split from long-term love Olivier Martinez, saying, "I'm here, it's all good".

One onlooker told BANG Showbiz: "She looked absolutely amazing and was smiling from ear-to-ear. She was thoroughly enjoying herself and even danced to her own hit songs as she passed through the exhibition."

The exhibition features a timeline of Kylie's iconic outfits, from the mechanic overalls she wore as Charlene in Australian soap 'Neighbours' to the famous gold hotpants she wore for her 2000 'Spinning Around' video. The revealing hooded white jumpsuit from her 2001 'I Can't Get You Out Of My Head' video is also a highlight.

DJ Gilles Peterson provided entertainment for the exclusive launch party which was attended by a host of the singer’s friends, fashion designers and a galaxy of stars.

Dita Von Teese - who has filed for divorce from Marilyn Manson - and Boy George were among the celebrities in attendance. George got very excited when he saw his own designs in a special mock-up of Kylie's dressing room.

Kylie was especially thrilled to see old friend and trusted confidante shoe designer Manolo Blahnik, who warmly embraced the diminutive star.

Guests sipped on Showgirl cocktails and nibbled canapés served on plates adorned with Kylie-esque stilettos.

Kylie also insisted that Evian mineral water, her favourite tipple on tour, was readily available - the bottled beverage was the official sponsor of the show.

The exhibition runs from February 8 to June 10.

The 'Mean Girls' star - who checked herself into Los Angeles' Wonderland Center on January 17 to be treated for alcoholism - left the clinic last week and hit the town straight away.
On Friday night (02.02.07) Lindsay was seen laughing and joking with hotel heiress Paris Hilton as they left the Les Deux nightclub.
The 'Just My Luck' star then spent Saturday night (03.02.07) partying with friends at trendy nightspot Teddy's, before heading to Area nightclub.
Lindsay - who admitted herself to rehab following an all-night drinking binge at the Golden Globes (15.01.07) - was not seen drinking over the weekend.
The 20-year-old actress - who was allowed out on day release during her rehabilitation programme to film her latest movie 'I Know Who Killed Me' and go shopping - allegedly sent text messages to friends saying she was craving sex and burgers during her time in Wonderland.

Drew Barrymore hasn't got a date for Valentine's Day.
The actress - who recently split from her boyfriend of four-and-a-half years The Strokes drummer Fabrizio Moretti - revealed her Valentine's heartbreak at the London premiere of her new movie 'Music and Lyrics' last night (05.02.07).
She told BANG showbiz: "I'm not sure what I'm doing for Valentine's Day. I will probably go bowling with all of my single girlfriends. Well, we have such a good time together and I love my girlfriends. We go out to dinner, to the movies, out drinking wine. It's a great time to see my friends."
Drew braved the cold in a strapless John Galliano dress to meet fans who had gathered for the premiere in Leicester Square.
Her co-star Hugh Grant - who plays a washed up 80s pop star in the romantic comedy - arrived on the red carpet with his girlfriend Jemima Khan.
Always the gentleman, the actor whisked his love inside to keep warm, and then returned to talk to waiting fans.
Hugh had nothing but praise for Drew.
He gushed: "It was lovely for me, miserable for Drew. She brought me up and I brought her horribly down."

The Beatles are set to dominate the British charts again after settling their Apple trademark dispute.
Fab Four fans were thrilled to hear iPod manufacturer Apple Inc had settled their almost 30-year battle with The Beatles' record company Apple Corps over who owned the legal rights to the Apple name.
Apple Inc will now own all trademarks relating to Apple and will license certain ones back to Apple Corps - meaning The Beatles' music, which has never been officially sold online, could soon be released via iTunes.
One music source said: "Making these songs available could spark a whole new outbreak of Beatlemania."
Apple Inc boss Steve Jobs said he was delighted to have settled the legal battle.
He added: "We love The Beatles, and it has been painful being at odds with them over these trademarks. It feels great to resolve this in a positive manner."
A recent change in how the British singles chart is compiled - which now considers downloads sales of any track ever released - means The Beatles could dominate the pop charts almost 45 years since their first release.
The change even includes album tracks, meaning classic hits such as 'Blackbird' and 'Across The Universe' could hit the top spot.
'Hey Jude', which originally topped the charts in September 1968, is the bookmakers' favourite to be the first number one single, followed by 'Yesterday'.

Ryan O'Neal's warning shot

Ryan O'Neal claims he only fired his gun as a warning during a fight with his son Griffin.
The 65-year-old Oscar winner was arrested at his Malibu home in the early hours of Saturday morning (03.02.07) for assault with a deadly weapon and negligent discharge of a firearm after an altercation with Griffin, 42.
Ryan has now revealed he only got his gun after his son started wildly swinging a fireplace poker. The 'Love Story' actor was grazed in the attack but Griffin's pregnant 22-year-old girlfriend was hit in the head.
Ryan said: "I ducked and he hit his girlfriend. She's seven months pregnant. I got nervous at that point and fled to my room and got my gun. Griffin came up the stairs so I just fired it into the banister. He fled."
Ryan was released on $50,000 bail after being questioned by police.
The fracas occurred after Ryan returned home from Farrah Fawcett's 60th birthday party. The pair dated between 1980 and 1997 and have a 21-year-old son Redmond.
The 'Charlie's Angels' actress, who was supported throughout her ordeal by Ryan, was recently given the all-clear from anal cancer.
Griffin has previous convictions for reckless behaviour under the influence of alcohol. His father allegedly knocked out two of his teeth during a row in 1983, but was not charged over the incident

Kylie Minogue and Olivier Martinez have split amid rumours he had been unfaithful.

Olivier, who has been linked to a series of other women throughout the couple’s four-year relationship, was seen embracing actress Penelope Cruz just hours after the split was announced.
Olivier, 41, hugged and kissed Penelope, 32, at Los Angeles’ Chateau Marmont Hotel on Saturday (03.02.07) – the same hotel where he fell in love with Kylie.
A close friend of Kylie’s revealed : "Kylie is a very sensitive woman who loved him with all her heart but he looks like he doesn't have a care in the world.
“He clearly isn’t worried about her feelings. He approached Penelope seconds after she had sat down to have lunch with her friends."
Kylie – who battled breast cancer in 2005 - and Olivier’s relationship was constantly tested by rumours of infidelity.
Rumours he had romanced Israeli model Sarai Givati allegedly proved to be the final staw and the couple split just weeks after Olivier and Sarai, 24, were seen at a Hollywood hotel together.
Last summer, Olivier was seen canoodling with ‘Lost’ star Michelle Rodriguez and is said to have met up with her again last week.

George Michael and Andrew Ridgeley are to reform Wham!.

The 80s pop duo, whose hits include 'Club Tropicana' and 'I’m Your Man’, are reportedly planning to fly out to the US this summer to start recording tracks for a new album, with the possibility of a tour later.
George made his wishes for a reunion known last year, and asked Andrew to join him on stage at his solo show at London's Wembley Arena last December.
However, Andrew pulled out at the last minute because he was too nervous.
Wham! split in 1986 and performed their last concert, 'The Finale', at the now demolished Wembley Stadium, in London, in June of that year.


Alanis Morissette has split from her fiancé.

The 'Jagged Little Pill' singer and her 'Smokin' Aces' actor fiancé Ryan Reynolds, who were together for five years and got engaged in 2004, announced their split in a joint statement from their representatives Dvora Vener and Meredith O'Sullivan.
The statement said: "Ryan Reynolds and Alanis Morissette have mutually decided to end their engagement. They remain close friends and continue to have the utmost love and admiration for each other.
"They ask that their privacy be respected surrounding this personal matter."
The couple split for a short period in 2006 though they reunited soon after.
