Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie are terrified for their son Pax Thein's safety after learning of a $100 million plot to kidnap him.

The Hollywood couple have reportedly tightened security after their bodyguards heard of a "credible and meticulously planned" bid to snatch their newly adopted three-year-old Vietnamese son. The Los Angeles-based gang members were allegedly planning to demand a staggering $100 million ransom.

A source revealed: "They're highly skilled operatives with little regard for human life. "Information came out that leaders of the gang ordered their Los Angeles members to devise a plan to kidnap Pax before demanding a ransom of $100 million for his safe return.

"Brad and Angelina would have a number of days to hand over the money or risk the boy's life."

Halle Berry contemplated suicide after her first marriage imploded.

The 40-year-old actress, who was devastated when her marriage to baseball player David Justice collapsed in 1996, only changed her mind after thinking of the effect it would have on her mother.

Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie are planning an Easter wedding in the Dominican Republic, it has been reported. The Hollywood couple fell in love with the Dominican Republic during a recent holiday and have allegedly decided it is the perfect place for their nuptials.

A source told Britain’s OK! magazine: "While they were in the Dominican Republic, Brad bought a huge plot of land and helped design a fabulous house. "It's there they intend to become Mr and Mrs Pitt.” Brad, 43, and Angelina, 31 - who have three adopted children, Pax Thien, Maddox and Zahara, and a daughter Shiloh together - are expected to fly out to the exotic country in the next two weeks and want the ceremony to be a "family affair".

The source added: "Pax and Maddox are old enough to be page boys and it’s always been Angie's dream that this wedding will be a true family affair."
Brad recently ruled out getting married until "everyone else in the US who wants to be married is legally able".

Angelina has also avoided the issue in the past saying: "We've both been married before so it's not marriage that necessarily kept some people together. We are legally bound to our children, not to each other, and I think that's the most important thing."

Brad was previously married to Jennifer Aniston, their divorce was finalised in October 2005. Angelina has two failed marriages to Jonny Lee Miller and Billy Bob Thornton.

The singer’s enormous wealth was revealed in leaked documents drawn up by the legal team who prepared her premarital agreement with estranged husband Kevin Federline.

Britney, who has agreed to give Kevin $10 million in their divorce settlement, has made $26.5 million from her music career alone.

Nicole Richie’s recent collapses on the set of ‘The Simple Life’ are the result of hypoglycaemia, her representative has claimed.

The 25-year-old star was hospitalised for dehydration earlier this month and allegedly collapsed again on the set of her reality show last week.

Nicole is now said to have been diagnosed with hypoglycaemia. A representative for the star said: "In her ongoing effort to focus on her well-being, Nicole has recently discovered she has hypoglycaemia.

"She is taking steps to manage it. Nicole has reported to work each day and the results have been fantastic." A ‘Simple Life’ source said: "Four or five times she's felt really faint and almost passed out. She has to go into her trailer for a good part of the day."

Nicole, the adopted daughter of singer Lionel Richie, announced in October she was seeking treatment for an “inability to gain weight”. She is currently facing charges of Driving Under the Influence (DUI) after she was stopped by police in December for driving the wrong way on a California Highway. She admitted to police she had smoked marijuana and taken the strong painkiller Vicodin.

Spears’ new boyfriend Jason Filyaw says he is in love with the singer.
The ‘Toxic’ singer reportedly fell for rocker Jason at her Alcoholic Anonymous meetings, and Jason has revealed they are “growing close”.

Jason told gossip website TMZ: “I love her, I support her 100 per cent and we are close. We have been growing very close since our special relationship began.”

While Jason refused to confirm or deny if he is dating Britney, he is helping the troubled singer with the “spiritually deep” part of her treatment. The 33-year-old also revealed he knew Britney before she checked into Malibu’s Promises centre.

Guitarist Jason claims the pair met in 2003 when Britney recorded some tracks with him at New York’s The Hit Factory. Jason says they kept in touch before meeting up again at a Los Angeles Alcoholics Anonymous meeting last month.

Meanwhile, it has been reported Britney, 25, has been displaying some diva-like behaviour in rehab. A source told America’s Star magazine: “Britney has a seriously bad attitude problem. She’s been very demanding. She acts like a 12-year-old and throws temper tantrums when she doesn’t get what she wants.

“She refuses to pick up after herself and even asked if she could hire a maid! She’s asking for special food, special everything and she’s not that nice to anyone.” The magazine also claims Britney has been drinking 24 cans of Coca-Cola a day.

Angelina Jolie has officially adopted a three-year-old Vietnamese boy named Pax Thien.

The actress travelled to the Tam Binh orphanage, on the outskirts of Ho Chi Minh City, to collect Pax Thien earlier today (15.03.07).

Staff and children gathered to welcome Angelina and her adopted Cambodian son Maddox, five, as they arrived in a Toyota minivan with dark windows.
Nguyen Van Trung, director of the orphanage, said: "This morning he woke up at six, just like all the children. "He put on new clothes, and he was very excited."

Angelina then visited the Department of Justice in Ho Chi Minh City, where she took part in a ceremony granting her official possession of the child.
Trevor Neilson, Angelina's adviser on international affairs, revealed she has changed his name to Pax Thien Jolie. Pax means peace in Latin, while Thien is Vietnamese for sky.

Angelina is expected to meet with US consular officials who must review the adoption before a passport can be issued for Pax.Pax has been living at the orphanage since he was abandoned by his parents at a hospital.

Angelina, 31 - who is dating Brad Pitt - has made a solo application to become the child's parent because it is difficult for unmarried couples to adopt under Vietnamese law. Angelina and Brad, 43, jointly adopted two-year-old Ethiopian baby Zahara. Brad is a legal guardian to Maddox, and the couple also have a 10-month-old biological daughter, Shiloh.

The Oscar-winning actress has revealed her mother refused to support her when she ran out of money aged 21 – leaving her homeless.

Halle, 40, told Reader’s Digest magazine: “But a girl had to do what a girl had to do. You can do that when you're 21 and ambitious and your eyes are this big and you don't want to go home. I became a person who knows that I will always make my own way.

"When I moved to Chicago, she drove me there, but I don't think she ever thought it would pan out. After a month or two, I ran out of money and called her.

“I said, ‘Mom, I hate to ask you this, but could you send me some money? I just have rent money, I can't eat this week.’

“And she said no. She said, ‘I'm not going to start this calling home asking mom for money. No, figure it out or come home.’ I was so mad. I didn't speak to her for a year-and-a-half."

The ‘Perfect Stranger’ star has forgiven her mother and believes the experience made her stronger. Madonna is set to strip naked on hit plastic surgery TV show ‘Nip/Tuck’.

The programme’s creator Ryan Murphy is writing a part especially for the singer, who he wants to star alongside her friend and Rosie O’Donnell who recently joined the series.

Mel C has agreed to a Spice Girls reunion.

The 33-year-old singer – who previously resisted all attempts to reunite the group – has been persuaded to perform with the girls once again by the band’s former manager Simon Fuller.

The distraught actor and his long-term lover Vanessa Paradis are keeping a vigil by their seven-year-old daughter’s bedside, who is said to be in a “serious condition”.

Johnny was due to start filming ‘Sweeney Todd’ in England when Lily-Rose was struck down by the undisclosed illness nine days ago.

A hospital source is quoted as saying: “They are worried sick, but Lily-Rose is getting the very best treatment available. "It's been an emotional rollercoaster for all of them, and he has been finding it hard keeping it together. He's a devoted dad and is spending as much time as he can with Lily.They are taking each day as it comes."

Heather Mills is demanding £10,000 a day in her divorce from Sir Paul McCartney.

The 39-year-old reportedly needs £3.5 million a year just “to get by”, but is willing to accept a one-off settlement of £40 million for a “high-speed” divorce.

Paul, 64, claims he is worth considerably less than the £825 million fortune he is alleged to have and is refusing to meet Heather’s demands.

A source said: “Heather is making extremely large demands considering the brevity of the marriage. Paul wants to be as generous as possible but his fortune has been grossly exaggerated. Britney Spears’ family has joined forces with Kevin Federline’s family to support her.

The ‘Toxic’ singer’s stint in rehab has brought the two families closer – despite the couple’s impending divorce – to support Britney and care for her two young sons.

A source revealed: "Everyone is making comments how sad it is that it took this to get everyone together.

"There was a lot of distance between the families but it seems now they all have a common goal, which is to help Britney get better."

Kevin has been looking after 18-month-old Sean Preston and six-month-old Jayden James, with the help of both families, since his estranged wife checked into rehab.

Robbie Williams reportedly checked out of rehab early last night (06.03.07) to seek comfort from his mother Jan. The troubled singer reportedly ignored medical advice and left his month-long programme a week early last night (06.03.07).

However, a spokesman for Robbie, Bryony Watts, said: “Robbie has completed treatment in Arizona and continues with an after-care programme in Los Angeles.”

Robbie has returned to his Los Angeles mansion to be looked after by his mother Jan, who is a drink and drugs counsellor.

Jan, 56, insists her son’s decision to get help on his 33rd birthday was the “best present he could give himself”.

It had been reported Robbie was staying at Arizona’s Meadows Centre, but he was actually at the £700-a-night Cottonwood de Tucson, according to Britain’s The Sun newspaper.

The clinic - said to be one of the toughest in the US - makes patients share rooms, wake up at 7am and eat in a basic cafeteria.

Patients are ordered to detox for the first five days and only allowed to go on supervised day trips. They also undergo intense group therapy before having one-to-one meetings with a therapist. While he was in rehab, Robbie spent his time studying British trivia.

A source said: "He's trying to keep his brain active. He wants to brush up on his British and US history." The ‘Feel’ singer, who became hooked on anti-depressants, sleeping pills and caffeine, checked into rehab on February 13.

Scarlett Johansson is convinced she looks like a man from the neck up.

The actress, widely considered to be one of Hollywood’s most desirable women, is paranoid she has a boy’s face on a woman’s body.

Scarlett, 22, said in an interview with Parade magazine: "I think I look kind of like a boy. I mean, not my body, obviously."

Naomi Campbell has been sentenced to mop the floors of New York's Sanitation Department, as punishment for throwing a phone at her maid.

The supermodel, who received the punishment after being found guilty of throwing a phone at her maid, will complete five days of court-ordered community service at the Manhattan garage for trash-trucks.

Naomi - who will wear an orange vest and has been advised to wear workman’s boots - is due to begin her sentence on March 19.

During the court case, lawyers for the British model told the judge that she would not agree to "do a Boy George".

The ex-Culture Club singer was ordered to sweep the streets of New York wearing a bright orange jacket, after being found guilty of lying to police about a burglary.

Naomi will be allowed to stay inside the garage out of the public view.

Naomi, 36, pleaded guilty to a misdemeanour assault in January, after being arrested for hurling her crystal-encrusted phone at Ana Scolavino last March. The incident left Ana needing four stitches to the head.

Naomi was fined £180, ordered to do five days' community service and instructed to complete a two-day anger management programme. This is the star's first criminal conviction.

Britney, 25, was seen at 11am stripped down to her bra and knickers, sunbathing by the pool. She then shaved her legs in the pool bathroom.

A source said: “It was sad. It looked like she really needed a friend.”

Heather Mills’ accusations of marital abuse were dismissed in court yesterday (28.02.07).

Heather and Sir Paul McCartney appeared at London’s High Court to determine if Heather’s allegations regarding Paul’s aggressive behaviour could be used in the divorce battle.

Last year, leaked legal papers revealed Heather had accused Paul of pushing her into a bath while pregnant, trying to choke her in 2003, pouring wine over her and stabbing her in the arm with a broken wine glass.

She also claimed Paul drank and took drugs excessively during their marriage.

The 64-year-old Beatles legend has always denied the allegations.
