Lindsay Lohan’s representative has confirmed reports she has checked into rehab again.

The actress voluntarily checked into Malibu’s Promises centre for “intensive” treatment on Monday (28.05.07), following her arrest for DUI (driving under the influence) at the weekend.

Her publicist said in a statement: “Lindsay admitted herself to an intensive medical rehabilitation facility on Memorial Day.

“Because this is a medical matter, it is our hope that the press will appreciate the seriousness of the situation and respect the privacy of Lindsay as well as the other patients receiving treatment at the facility.”

Britney Spears was found “vomiting uncontrollably” in the men’s toilets of a bar on Sunday night (27.05.07).

The singer had been drinking at the exclusive Sky Bar at Los Angeles’ Mondrian hotel and needed to be carried out when she was discovered slumped over a toilet covered in sick.

A source said: “Britney was found slumped over the toilet bowl with her make-up smeared over her face and her wig hanging off.

“She looked a real mess and was sitting on the floor with her head over the bowl throwing up.

Sir Paul McCartney’s bitter divorce battle has forced him to postpone his world tour.

The musician – the organiser of the Live Aid and Live 8 concerts which raised money and aid for the Third World - is furious he has been linked with the eco-friendly event, and has branded it a waste of time.

Geldof raged to Holland’s De Volkskrant newpaper: "It sounds like Live 8. I’m getting lots of responses from people who think I am organising it.

"I would only organise Live Earth if I could go on stage and announce concrete environmental measures from the American presidential candidates, Congress or major corporations. "They haven't got those guarantees, so it's just an enormous pop concert or the umpteenth time that, say, Madonna or Coldplay get up on stage.

"I hope they're a success. But why is Gore actually organising them? To make us aware of the greenhouse effect? Everybody's known about that problem for years. We are all f***ing conscious of global warming."

Johnny Depp has spoken about the strength of his "wonderful" daughter during her recent life-threatening health scare.

The 43-year-old actor was terrified when seven-year-old Lily-Rose was rushed to hospital in March after contracting the potentially fatal E.coli bacteria, but his daughter’s courage gave him hope.

Depp, whose long-term partner is Vanessa Paradis, said in an interview with the Daily Mirror newspaper: "It gave us a great scare. What got us through this wasn't the strength of Vanessa or me but our daughter and her incredible ability to make us feel OK even though she was very unwell. She was super-strong.

"It was a very bumpy patch but she has come through it beautifully and unscathed and she is now as healthy as she always was. She is wonderful."
Johnny and Vanessa kept a constant bedside vigil when Lily-Rose was admitted to a London hospital with what was initially thought to be blood poisoning.

The couple - who also have a five-year-old son, John Jack - were distraught when they discovered their daughter had actually contracted the deadly bug, which caused her kidneys to shut down. Johnny - who is currently shooting 'Sweeney Todd' in London - revealed the scare made him realise how blessed he is. He said: "It is a reminder to us of how lucky we are to be able to breathe, walk, talk, think and surround ourselves with people we love."

Angelina Jolie never wanted to give birth until she met Brad Pitt.

The actress was content to fill her family with adopted children, until she fell in love with Brad and realised having a biological baby wouldn’t be a “threat” to the family.

Angelina - who has a daughter Shiloh with Brad and three adopted children, Maddox, Zahara and Pax Thien - told Reader’s Digest magazine: "I always said I was happy never to have a child biologically. Brad told me he hadn't given up that thought.

“Then after Zahara came home from Ethiopia, I saw Brad with her and Maddox, and I realised how much he loved them - that a biological child would not in any way be a threat." The 31-year-old actress revealed she and Brad make sure they spend special time with each child.

Angelina said: "We've tried to figure out a lot of private time for each of them. When everybody goes to bed, we give Maddox time. When everybody is at school, we give Shiloh time. In between, Zahara and Pax each get special time.”
