The 'Smile' singer, who is dating Chemical Brothers star Ed Simons, discovered she was expecting last month but has only just informed her close family of the happy news.

A source said: "Lily is thrilled to be pregnant and can't wait to become a mum. She's a real family person. "Ed's very happy. He is really looking after her."
Lily, 22, began dating Ed, who is 15 years her senior, in September and sources insist they are excited about their impending arrival.

One said: "They could not be happier. It's the icing on the cake for Lily as she's had an incredible 18 months. She is looking forward to finishing her new album early next year and releasing it before the birth of her first child."

The troubled singer was arrested at 5pm after voluntarily turning herself into Shoreditch police station, in London's Hackney, in connection with the investigation into her husband Blake Fielder-Civil's charge of perverting the course of justice.

A Scotland Yard spokeswoman said: "A 24-year-old woman has been bailed to return to an east London police station on a date in early March pending further inquiries."

Amy's father Mitch added: "Amy's arrest has been planned for the past three weeks so it's nothing new to any of us. She was asked to attend the police station to be questioned and to assist them with the investigation into Blake's charges."

Led Zeppelin have promised fans an epic two-hour set at their comeback concert next week.

Guitarist Jimmy Page insists the legendary group plan to play a multitude of hits from their impressive back catalogue, at London's O2 arena on December 10, and scoffed when it was suggested they could only perform for 40 minutes.

He told NME magazine: "We couldn't just play for 40 minutes.

"When we were first asked to do this we were asked to do a 40-minute set. We soon realised we couldn't.

"If we go out and play songs like 'No Quarter', 'Moby Dick' and 'Dazed and Confused', with all the solos, you're already talking over an hour.

"There's no way I can take on playing three-and-a-half-hour sets now, like we used to. I just don't have the energy for that any more.

"But I've still got enough in me to get through a two-hour set."

Earlier this week, Page revealed he is considering asking Sir Elton John for tips on performing at The O2 arena.

He said: "A lot of acts seem to be struggling with the sound there. The Rolling Stones sounded terrible. Prince wasn't great and Snow Patrol was this great monolithic noise.

"The only guy who sounded good was Elton John so I may speak to his sound man."

The Quaid's lawyer Susan E. Loggans said: "The twins are back home. Their condition is fantastic, they're smiling. Zoe looks like her mom, and Boone looks like his dad.

"They've fully recovered from the accident and it's doubtful they'll suffer any long-term effects from the overdose.

"The Quaids are very religious, and they believe their children's recovery is a real miracle."

Dennis and Kimberly are now suing Baxter Healthcare Corporation, the manufacturer of Heparin, for failing to label vials of the drug properly.

Court documents filed in Cook County, Illinois, yesterday (04.12.07) state the couple are seeking over $50,000 in damages. The paper claim the twins "suffered and will continue to suffer injuries", while the family suffered invasion of privacy as a result of the accident.

Loggans said: "On a negligence scale of one to 10, Baxter Corporation gets a 10.

"They knew medication errors due to product labelling resulted in death but failed to recall the drug. Each year there's 1.5 million medication errors in America - it is a national epidemic."

Baxter Healthcare Corporation claim they are yet to be served the legal documents.

A spokeswoman for the company, Erin Gardiner, said: "We have not been served with a lawsuit related to this incident, so we cannot comment on the lawsuit itself.

"This is not a product issue, the issue here is improper use of a product. Heparin is one of the most commonly used generic drugs in a hospital setting manufactured by seven companies in standard vials. It plays a vital role in the treatment of thousands of patients everyday when administered and used properly.

"Baxter strives to clearly differentiate products and dosages, but no amount of differentiation will replace the value of clinicians carefully reading and reviewing a drug name and dose."

It has been revealed Cedars-Sinai Medical Center was warned by America's Food and Drug Association (FDA) of the dangers of mistaking the low and high dose vials of heparin in February.

In the safety alert dated February 6, 2007, the FDA and Baxter Healthcare Corporation highlighted the dangers of confusing 10 and 10,000 unit vials of the drug, as the labelling is very similar.

A source said: "Britney and her pals wrote to Paris and told her they are hearing rumours of a new sex-tape scandal.

"The letter also claims the tape shows footage of Paris locking lips with one of Britney's female friends at a party.

"It warns Paris that if she continues being rude to people, the footage will be leaked online."

The note ended with Britney and her friends telling Paris they look forward to hearing back from her.

The pair are said to have fallen out at Britney's birthday bash after Paris snubbed her.

However, Paris isn't worried about the letter because she thinks mother-of-two Britney is acting immaturely.

A source revealed to Britain's Daily Star newspaper: "It's obvious Britney and her bratty pals are being silly. Paris laughed when she got the letter, supposedly from Britney and said it was 'c**p.' "

SPICE GIRLS WOWED FANS

The Spice Girls wowed fans as they kicked-off their world tour in Canada last night (02.12.07).

The band – Victoria Beckham, Mel B, Emma Bunton, Geri Halliwell and Mel C – performed in front of over 15,000 fans at Vancouver’s General Motors Place, singing 22 tracks including their nine UK number one singles.

It is the first time they have performed together as a five-piece in nine years, following Geri sensationally quitting the band in May 1998 halfway through their first world tour.

The girls – whose show-stopping costumes have been designed by Roberto Cavalli – opened the concert with ‘Spice Up Your Life’, while dancing on raised platforms.

Much to the delight of the crowd they sang all their classics, including ‘Stop’, ‘Who Do You Think You Are’ and ‘Say You’ll Be There’.
