AMY WINEHOUSE’S IMPRISONED HUSBAND HAS REPORTEDLY DEMANDED A £3 MILLION DIVORCE SETTLEMENT.

Amy Winehouse’s imprisoned husband has reportedly demanded a £3 million divorce settlement.

Blake Fielder-Civil, who is currently in London’s Pentonville Prison awaiting charges of grievous bodily harm (GBH) and conspiracy to pervert the course of justice, believes he is entitled to £250,000 for every month he has been married to the troubled singer.

After Amy allegedly told him she wanted to divorce him and start a new life with new lover Alex Haines, Blake is said to have told friends: “She wouldn’t even be alive if it wasn’t for me.”

A source revealed: “At first Blake refused to believe Amy had dumped him, but his initial devastation has been replaced by rage. He said Amy owes everything to him - he inspired her music and says he saved her life.

“Because of Amy his life will never be the same again and he wants her to compensate him. He has demanded £3 million from her.”

Coldplay have bought an old bakery.

The band think the “ugly” building, in London’s Primrose Hill, is the perfect place for their new headquarters away from fans and paparazzi.

Singer Chris Martin explained: “For years I used to walk past this building everyday and think, ‘What an ugly place.’ “Then one day a ‘to let’ sign appeared outside. I thought, ‘Hmmm that place is so ugly, I bet no one would bother us if we move in there.’ ”

It will be the band’s first ‘home’ together since their university days, and they plan to be based there while promoting their new album, ‘Viva La Vida Or Death And All His Friends’.

Mariah Carey sparked rumours she is engaged to rapper Nick Cannon after she was seen wearing a huge diamond ring.

The ‘Touch My Body’ singer was sporting the impressive rock at the after-party for her new film ‘Tennessee’ at New York’s Tenjune nightclub on Saturday night (26.04.08), where she held hands with the actor-and-singer.

An onlooker said: “Mariah and Nick looked really cosy. They were cuddling and made sure they held hands all night. Mariah looked really proud to there with Nick, and he seemed to be having a great time.”

AMY WINEHOUSE IS SET TO DIVORCE HER IMPRISONED HUSBAND AND “START OVER” WITH A NEW LOVER, IT HAS BEEN CLAIMED.

Amy Winehouse is set to divorce her imprisoned husband and “start over” with a new lover, it has been claimed.

The troubled singer - whose spouse Blake Fielder-Civil is currently in prison awaiting charges of grievous bodily harm (GBH) and conspiracy to pervert the course of justice – reportedly told Blake their marriage was over last week and she plans to rebuild her life with Alex Haines.

A source said: “She can’t ever see Blake again for her own good. If Amy wants to start over she needs to bury her past.”

The 24-year-old's mother Janis has admitted she is “very concerned” for Amy and hopes the star will soon split from Blake and clean up her life.

Michael Jackson has narrowly avoided losing his house in Los Angeles, after paying off debts of $414,806

The ‘Thriller’ singer’s three-bedroom, three-bathroom property in Encino had been scheduled to be sold at a public auction on May 5, according to A Notice of Trustee’s Sale filed on April 11.

However, the 49-year-old musician has now saved the house by settling his debts.

A spokesperson for the singer said: “The property has been paid and is no longer in foreclosure.”

Last month, Jackson managed to save his 2,800 acre Neverland ranch, in California, from going to auction after working out a deal with Fortress Investment Group LLC to refinance the property instead of paying the $24.5 million fee.

Jackson's lawyer L. Londell McMillan said: "They've sorted out a confidential agreement. Neverland and Michael Jackson are fine."

Cameron Diaz is using humour to cope with her father’s sudden death.

The 35-year-old actress, who stars alongside Ashton Kutcher in new romantic comedy ‘What Happens in Vegas’, held a private screening of the movie to “have a good laugh” with her grieving friends and family following the loss of Emilio Diaz on April 15.

Cameron said in a hand-written note read out by Ashton in Los Angeles on Saturday (26.04.08): "Due to the loss of my father I have chosen to be with my family this weekend. But it was important for me to convey to all of you how much I love this film.

“I was fortunate to work with a group of truly gifted individuals that share the common denominator of a generous heart and wickedly sick sense of humor.

"This weekend I am screening ‘What Happens in Vegas’ for my family. It was a unanimous decision that we all needed to share a good laugh. After all that's why we make films like these. So people can leave behind their worries for a couple of hours. Have a good laugh. I picture all of your smiles and it makes me happy.

"Thank you for your continued support. It is much appreciated. Cameron."

AMY WINEHOUSE ALLEGEDLY ATTACKED TWO MEN DURING A DRUG-FUELLED NIGHT OUT.

Amy Winehouse allegedly attacked two men during a drug-fuelled night out.

The singer is facing arrest after she reportedly head-butted a guy who had hailed her a cab outside a London bar, just hours after punching her alleged other victim in the face.

The married star is also said to have kissed a mystery man and was seen smoking illegal drugs in the street. Trouble began on Tuesday evening (22.04.08) when Amy and a group of pals arrived at a pub in Camden after spending the afternoon drinking in her home.

Once inside, she allegedly hit Moroccan musician Mustapha el Mounmi after he refused to give up his space on the pool table.

Julia Roberts doesn’t wear deodorant.

The ‘Pretty Woman’ actress admits she doesn’t use underarm hygiene products and relies on old-fashioned soap and water to keep her armpits fresh.

Speaking to US talk show host Oprah Winfrey, she said: “I don’t actually use deodorant. I don’t like to share that with a lot of people, but it’s just never been my thing.” Roberts, 40, previously caused an armpit uproar in 1999 after she turned up to the UK premiere of romantic comedy ‘Notting Hill’ with hair poking out of the sleeves of her dress.

Helen Hunt and Colin Firth had to abandon filming a sex scene after being put off by someone breaking wind.

The pair were in a naked embrace on the set of forthcoming film ‘Then She Found Me’ but the mood was ruined when a crew member suffered a bout of extremely loud flatulence.

Firth – who had to re-shoot the scene – is quoted as saying: “Helen’s character plays my children’s school teacher and one of the most emotional parts of the film is when she comes to sleep on the floor of the room where I am with the kids. It’s very, very quiet and we can’t speak too loudly.

“There was a camera at floor level – then somebody down there broke wind incredibly loudly. It was not silent - it was deadly!”

CURTAINS FOR MARK WARNER?

For a second there, I thought the Mark Warner brand was plummeting to a certain death. News at lunch time was rife with comments that Kate McCann, in a forthcoming TV documentary, was suggesting that the absence of a child monitoring service on Mark Warner holidays was to blame for Maddie’s disappearance. So far the Mark Warner company which specialises in family holidays, has amazingly survived any bad press, but this could have been their worst nightmare. I was certain there would be a backlash for the brand, but to my amazement, The Evening Standard, not more than four hours after the initial news, issued the following statement: “We would like to make it clear that Kate McCann has not criticised Mark Warner in a forthcoming documentary to be broadcast on the disappearance of her daughter Madeleine. We would like to apologise to Mark Warner for any confusion caused.” Knowing how brands can be ruined in seconds, this just goes to show how Mark Warner’s damage limitation must be working triple overtime.

KELLY BROOK AND FIANCE BILLY ZANE HAVE SPLIT.

Kelly Brook and fiance Billy Zane have split.

The 28-year-old actress decided to end her four-year relationship with the 'Titanic' star last month after realising she was too young to settle down.
A source close to Kelly – whose father Ken died from cancer last November – said: “After much soul-searching, Kelly decided that Billy is not the man she wants to marry and has called off the engagement.

“The split is completely amicable and they remain good friends.”
Billy, 42, has now moved out of the couple's English farmhouse and back to Los Angeles.

Janet Jackson has a crush on Alicia Keys.

The 'Together Again' star - who has been dating record producer Jermaine Dupri since 2002 - thinks Alicia is “wonderful” and admires both her beauty and talent.

When asked who she would have a lesbian fling with, Janet replied: "I think I would pick Alicia Keys. I think she's wonderful." Janet believes people often question the sexual orientation of Alicia and US TV talk show host Oprah Winfrey because they are such “strong” characters.

She explained: “They are strong women. Maybe they want to put something else behind it because of the strength. Like, you can't be a woman and be strong, and there has to be something else to it."

Mariah Carey would feel "violated" if she had children.

The 38-year-old music star wouldn't feel comfortable becoming a mother, and is more than happy looking after her pet dog Jack.

She revealed "I never wanted to feel violated and I know that's a kind of weird thing to say, but that's how I am. It's definitely because of childhood traumatic stuff.

"It's hard to have kids in this world. I don't think I could properly educate a child right now. Maybe in the future, but I actually haven't thought about it. For now, I enjoy my dog Jack's company."
