Launching the world's first sustainable diamond

SkyDiamond

Borkowski launched SkyDiamond, the first diamond to be made ethically and sustainably using carbon taken directly from the atmosphere, and with a process powered by wind and rain.

Story

Positioned as an alternative to the traditional diamond industry, which coincided with Dale Vince’s book and report about the true impact of the diamond industry on people and the planet.

We created a powerful news story backed by compelling visual storytelling and, by polemicising and politicising SkyDiamond as a challenge to the traditional diamond trade, we also stoked conversation and debate - giving the story a powerful purpose that went beyond commercial interest.

The story travelled the globe, featured in 101 different countries with over 600 pieces of coverage spanning UK national newspapers and broadcast as well as a plethora of high-profile outlets stretching across every continent.
